A 91-year-old woman from Deagon has passed away nearly a week after being involved in a three-vehicle collision on Boondall roads.
The elderly woman was travelling east on Roghan Rd just after 11:00 a.m. on 6 April 2024 when her car collided with a utility. A minibus travelling north on Sandgate Rd also became involved in the accident, colliding with the woman’s car.
Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found the woman in a stable condition. She was responsive, with her primary complaints being chest and neck pain, according to a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman.
The drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the crash were uninjured. There were no passengers in their vehicles. However, there was a passenger in the 91-year-old woman’s car.
The woman tragically succumbed to her injuries and died on 11 April 2024.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing its investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident, a police spokesman said.
